The Hartland Movement Center High School Golf Camp is a 6-week program that focuses on Conditioning, Bio-mechanical Preferences & Swing Instruction. The program will run on the following dates:
- Mondays from 4-6 pm between January 24 – February 27, 2022
- Thursdays 4-6 pm between January 27 – March 3, 2022
- Saturdays 10-12 pm between January 29 – March 5, 2022
Program Outline
WEEK 1
Introduction! Write down 1 GOAL that you want to develop and improve in your GOLF game.
- Introduction of the staff
- Mobility and Active Stretching
WEEK 2
- Introduce – mobility and “To do” warm up before swing practice and GOLF matches!
- Swing exercises plus video Analysis
- Biomechanical Preference Analysis
WEEK 3
- Mobility and Active Stretching
- Video Analysis of Individual’s Golf Swing
- Overall swing pattern
- Mid-iron swing practice and evaluation
- Mid-iron Strengthening
WEEK 4
- Long Game – Work on lengthening swing and swing pattern, weight transfer
- Long game – Conditioning to match long game proficiency and strengthening for more power
WEEK 5
- Short game and chipping – shot selection and strategy around greens
- Short game and chipping – strengthening for short game to create finesse, control, and accuracy. Develop muscle movement memory patterns.
WEEK 6
- Review and Summary
- Competitive drill Assessment practicing.
- Chipping
- Long Drive
- Putting
