Tom Thompson
My passion for cycling began as part of a journey to lose weight. I started with spin classes at a local fitness center, then was introduced to outdoor ride groups 15 years ago. I've participated in some duathlons, however, the camaraderie of riding with a group and meeting others changed my focus to just cycling. I morphed from group rides once a week to now most often five days a week. I have participated in multiple Horrible Hilly Hundred’s, Trek 100’s, Ride’s to the Barn’s, Race The Lake along with endurance rides RAW and LaToJa. Cycling has become a significant part of my work/life balance and solo rides have an incredible benefit to them as well. Leading winter indoor cycling classes is my chance to share what I have learned over the years and motivate others to be the best cyclist they can. If you want to find me on the road between April and November, look up the Super B’s.
