Cheryl Sinitz
Cheryl Sinitz joined HMC its inaugural year to assist with the development and implementation of the Indoor Cycling Program. In addition to nearly 10 years of indoor cycling leadership experience, Cheryl has been a competitive athlete since she was eight years old. She has swum competitively as an age group, collegiate and master’s swimmer and was part of the USMS Wisconsin Master’s National Championship team in 2018. After college, Cheryl began competing in triathlon and running events. When a hip replacement curtailed her running, she refocused her efforts on cycling and expanded her training to include longer distance cycling events. She has worked with several professional cycling coaches to bring the indoor cycling program to HMC. In addition to her athletic endeavors, Cheryl has a solid foundation in group exercise, personal training and wellness programming having worked for the YMCA, the Wisconsin Athletic Club and Quad/Graphics. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy with a minor in Psychology, a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She works professionally as a Physician Assistant for GI Associates as well as an adjunct professor for the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University. When not working clinically you can find Cheryl training, baking, reading, hiking with her dog Eva, or out on Pewaukee Lake as a member of the Pewaukee Lake Waterski Club with her husband John and her two girls, Abby and Ally.
